Five Reasons to Jump Up and Say, “I Want a Toyota Corolla!”

The average car buyer searching for their new vehicle may not even know where to start. From safety to style to gas mileage, there are so many factors to take into consideration. A commonly owned car that is known for being reliable is the Toyota Corolla. While someone is searching for a Toyota Corolla for sale–they may wonder if there is more to the Corolla than reliability. Here are five factors that make this vehicle a good candidate for your next ride.

Price and Standard Features – Toyota is clearly living up to its long tradition of affordability with the Corolla.  I could easily afford a 2020 Corolla, priced between $19,600 and $25,550, with a plethora of standard, state of the art safety technology tools and up-level features.

Engine and Performance – What’s under the hood is as important as the interior finishes.  Toyota’s New Global Architecture (TNGA) Suspension would provide a more comfortable ride, as I’d experienced the night before.  I also liked the choices between the 1.8 and 2.0 liter, four-cylinder engines, as well as the choice between the continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT) that delivers power to the front wheels, the specialized automatic with paddle shifters, or the six-speed, manual transmission option.  However, the LE sedan’s optional hybrid powertrain really had my attention.

Fuel Economy, Hybrid Technology, and Miles per Gallon – Wow!  While I found the overall fuel efficiency of each model quite impressive, the thrifty hybrid model, available in the LE trim, is estimated at 53 MPG city and 52 MPG highway!  What’s not to love about that?

Interior, Infotainment, and Cargo – All models come standard with passive entry, push button start, interiors with high quality materials, and a streamlined dash design.  They also come with several standard up-level features, including the touchscreen infotainment system with a mobile hotspot, as well as the Apple CarPlay that would work with my iPhone to get directions, send messages, make voice calls with Siri Eyes Free, and listen to music.  Plus, the LE hybrid design has a spacious back seat and plenty of cargo to stow my bags for weekend getaways.

Safety and Driver’s Assistance – There is an incredible amount of standard safety features that were not available back in 2005 that made me feel like George Jetson just reading about them!   The range of driver assistance technology includes automated emergency braking with pedestrian detection, adaptive cruise control, road sign assist, lane-trace assist (not available on manual transmission models), lane departure alert with steering assist, and more!

Price, performance, fuel economy, state of the art design, cutting edge technology, and safety features make the Toyota Corolla to take you to and from work and play in style.
